We are very excited and proud to announce not only that the PMI Global Congress for North America is coming to Vancouver during October 20-23, 2012, but also that we have been selected to be co-host Chapter along with our colleagues from the Canadian West Coast Chapter from mainland.

This is a tremendous opportunity for the members of Chapter to take part in one of the most energizing events that PMI organizes throughout out the year.

To give you an idea about the scale, the previous North American Congress was in Dallas/Forth Worth in October 2011, over 4 days, and there were about 3,000 participants. There were numerous professional development opportunities over multiple parallel tracks from a wide variety of domains, and numerous very high calibre keynote speakers, such as, Malcolm Gladwell, John Furlong, Stefan Swaneopel, Jim De Piante, Heather Rarick and Jones Loflin.

PMI Global Congresses feature presentations that cover both global and regional project management issues and emerging challenges, and apply to project managers of all skill levels and career stages. The networking opportunities are tremendous, the numerous events providing an environment to meet fellow practitioners across all industries, share experiences and exchange ideas.

Moreover, as a co-host, there will be additional opportunities for our members. We are working on the specific details and will communicate them as they become available.
