PMP Exam Preparation – 5 Day Course This 5-day course (April 6 -7 & 12-14, 2016) provides participants with practical guidance on how projects are actually managed as well as explaining how these practical processes align with the latest PMBOK. Participants will prepare to successfully take the PMP® or CAPM® examination, attain their professional certification and put this knowledge to work in managing real projects.

Introduction to Project Management (May 4 – 5, 2016 Victoria, May 18-19, 2016 Vancouver): This two-day introductory course gives new project managers and project team members the essential tools they need to deliver successful projects on time, on budget and in scope. The course covers the complete project lifecycle, from initial project proposal and definition, through project implementation, and finally to the often neglected project completion phase. Completion of this course will earn you 14 PDU’s.

October 2016 we will once again be offering the popular Masters Certificate in Project Management program. This is a highly concentrated 18 day, nine-module program that covers all ten areas of A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge or PMBOK® Guide, from project procurement management, to risk management to integration management. Programs start October 4 and 5 in Victoria and Vancouver respectively.

Thriving on Change (October 26-27, 2016): A comprehensive two day workshop on the skills of navigating and leading change in the workplace. University of Victoria facilitator Dr. Vivien Corwin will explore understanding and optimising change, building engagement in the midst of change, understanding and dealing with our differences (using organizational frames) and how to foster trust in the workplace. Completion of this course will earn you 14 PDU’s.

Facilitative Leadership (November 23-24, 2016): Canada’s top leadership development course limited to just 25 participants. Here managers will practice their facilitative communication, project leadership and problem solving techniques in two dynamic days of learning. Completion of this course will earn you 14 PDU’s. Only a few seats remaining!
